Terms of Use
Effective 2026-08-18 · Transcendent Creations LLC
Monius is sold only through the App Store, and the licence to use it is granted under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs on any point these terms do not cover or conflict with. The page below is a plain-language description of the deal from Transcendent Creations LLC — what you get, what you pay, and what the app does and does not do — not a separate licence.
Nothing here limits the consumer rights you have where you live. Those rights vary by country, they apply whatever a terms page says, and this one does not try to sign them away.
Licence
Monius is a one-time purchase. Buying it grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices associated with your Apple Account, in line with the App Store's usage rules. You may not resell, redistribute, decompile or reverse-engineer the app except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded.
What you pay for
The purchase unlocks the app's full functionality on the version you bought and the updates published for it. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Should a future major version ever be sold separately, that will be a distinct product on the App Store, and the version you own will keep working.
Trial
Monius includes a trial period that runs long enough to reach a full weekly review. When it ends, the app's recording and review features are locked until purchase. Your data is never deleted when a trial ends — it remains on your device and returns as soon as you purchase.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. Transcendent Creations cannot issue refunds directly. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data is your responsibility
Because the app has no server, Transcendent Creations holds no copy of your data and cannot restore it. Syncing and backup depend on your iCloud and device backup settings. Keeping those working is up to you.
Not medical or health advice
Monius is a habit-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological or health advice. Its targets and weekly proposals are generated from your own recorded data by fixed rules, and they describe how your targets fit your behaviour — nothing more. Do not use the app to diagnose or treat any condition, and consult a qualified professional for health decisions. Health values shown in the app come from Apple Health and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Screen Time features
The app's screen-time limits are a self-imposed aid, applied with your explicit permission. They can be removed by you at any time and should not be relied on as an enforcement mechanism or as a parental control.
Availability
The app is provided as is. Features that rely on Apple's frameworks — Apple Health, Screen Time, iCloud sync, notifications — depend on those services working, on your permissions, and on your device meeting the stated requirements. Their behaviour can change with iOS updates.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Transcendent Creations is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
